Description
Una National Park follows the Una and the lower Unac along the Croatian border, a river of travertine steps that hold the water back into pools and then let it over in sheets. Štrbački Buk is the tallest of them at twenty four and a half metres. Martin Brod carries the largest group, once lined with watermills and the open washing basins called bučnice, a few of which still turn. Rafting and kayaking run through the park from spring into autumn. The Rmanj monastery stands where the Unac comes in.
