Short description of Sutjeska National Park
Sutjeska is the oldest and largest national park in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a block of high limestone between the Sutjeska gorge and the Montenegrin border. Its core is Perućica, a strict reserve holding one of the last two primeval forests left in Europe, where spruce reach sixty metres and the Skakavac waterfall drops through the canopy.
