Budva
Montenegro · Budva Riviera · 5 m
Description
Budva is the busiest resort on the Montenegrin coast and the centre of its summer nightlife, a walled Venetian old town on a small peninsula with a run of beaches and hotel blocks spreading either side. The old town is compact, a knot of stone lanes with a citadel at the seaward tip and three churches sharing one small square. Mogren beach lies through a tunnel in the rock north of the walls. In July and August the town holds more people than at any other time of year by a wide margin.
