Travel to Niue
Niue is one of the largest raised coral islands in the world, a self governing state in free association with New Zealand with only around sixteen hundred residents. Instead of beaches, its limestone coast holds sea tracks down to chasms, caves and rock pools such as the Limu Pools, Matapa Chasm and Togo Chasm.
Humpback whales come close to shore from July to October, and spinner dolphins are seen year round in the clear water. Niue was the first country in the world to be recognised as a Dark Sky Nation.
