Description
Wallilabou is a deep narrow bay on the leeward coast of St. Vincent where the first Pirates of the Caribbean film built Port Royal in 2002 and then left most of it standing. The jetty, the archway and a good deal of hanging rope and barrel are still there, weathering, and the bay is an anchorage and a lunch stop on the coastal boat run. Behind it the Wallilabou falls drop into a pool a short walk from the road, and the black sand beaches and fishing villages of the leeward coast continue north from here.
