Description
The Tobago Cays are five uninhabited islands lying inside Horseshoe Reef, a wall of coral open to the Atlantic that holds back the swell and leaves a lagoon of impossibly pale water behind it. They are a marine park, there is nothing on any of the islands beyond scrub and iguanas, and everyone arrives by boat and anchors. Green turtles graze the sea grass off Baradal in numbers that make swimming with them routine rather than lucky. Boat boys grill lobster on the sand at Petit Bateau. It is the single best known thing in the Grenadines.
