Description
Theth is a remote mountain village in the Albanian Alps of northern Albania and one of the country's most renowned destinations for nature lovers and hikers. Surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Albanian Alps National Park, the village is known for its traditional stone houses, the historic Church of Theth, and the restored Lock-in Tower, which reflects the region's history of blood feuds under the Kanun customary law. Among its most popular attractions are the Grunas Waterfall, the turquoise Blue Eye of Theth, and the spectacular hike across the Valbona Pass, considered one of the finest trekking routes in the Balkans.
