Description
Llogara National Park (Parku Kombëtar Llogara) is one of southwestern Albania’s most impressive natural areas, combining the rugged landscapes of the Ceraunian Mountains with spectacular views over the Albanian Riviera. The park is characterized by dense black pine forests, dramatic rock formations, alpine scenery, and the famous Llogara Pass, where the coastal road climbs above 1,000 meters in elevation. Known for its winding mountain roads and panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, the village of Dhërmi, and the dramatic coastline, Llogara offers outstanding opportunities for hiking, nature observation, photography, and paragliding. The unique combination of mountains, forests, and sea makes the national park one of Albania’s most remarkable natural destinations and a spectacular gateway to the southern Riviera.
