Rasdhoo (ރަސްދޫ) is a small inhabited island in Rasdhukuramathi Atoll and the administrative capital of Alif Alif Atoll. The island is best known for its exceptional underwater world, with hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays and sea turtles found around its surrounding reefs. The famous Hammerhead Point makes Rasdhoo a popular destination for divers, particularly during early morning dives. The nearby uninhabited islands of Madivaru and Madivaru Finolhu are ideal for excursions, beach outings and picnics. Rasdhoo combines spectacular marine life with the authentic atmosphere of a Maldivian local island, offering a distinctive alternative to the country’s traditional private resort islands.
