Description
Mole is by far the largest protected area in Ghana at nearly five thousand square kilometres of Guinea savannah, and it is the one place in the country where you can reliably walk up to wild elephants. Walking safaris with an armed ranger are the standard product here and they are what sets Mole apart from parks that only allow vehicles. The motel sits on an escarpment directly above two waterholes, so the game viewing starts from the pool terrace. Antelope, warthog and baboons are constant, lions are effectively gone.
