Meemu Atoll
Maldives · 2 m
Description
Meemu Atoll (މީމު), traditionally known as Mulaku, comprises 33 islands, eight of them inhabited. With only two resort islands, it is one of the quieter atolls in the Maldives and is particularly known for its remote surf breaks. Mushrooms, also known as “Muli Outside”, is a long right hand point break and is considered one of the most consistent waves in the central atolls. Muli Inside, also known as “F1” for its speed, offers fast, hollow right hand waves, while Veyvah is known for its long lefts. Muli serves as the administrative capital of the atoll and is accessible by seaplane or speedboat from Malé.
