Short description of Hope Town
Hope Town sits on Elbow Cay in the Abacos and is the prettiest of the loyalist settlements, founded by families who left the American colonies after the revolution and kept a New England building style that looks out of place this far south. Clapboard cottages in sherbet colours line lanes too narrow for cars, and golf carts do the work instead.
