Description
Rurrenabaque is a small jungle town on the banks of the Beni River and the main gateway to the Bolivian Amazon. It is best known for its spectacular setting between the foothills of the Andes and the tropical lowlands, as well as serving as the starting point for tours into Madidi National Park and the Pampas del Yacuma. Visitors can explore dense rainforest, vast wetlands, and one of South America's richest wildlife regions, home to caimans, capybaras, pink river dolphins, monkeys, and hundreds of bird species.
