Pico Bonito (Parque Nacional Pico Bonito) is a spectacular national park on Honduras's Caribbean coast and ranks among the most biodiverse protected areas in Central America. This largely untouched rainforest massif extends from tropical lowland rainforest to mist-covered cloud forests and is crossed by numerous rivers, waterfalls, and natural swimming pools. The park is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, including more than 400 bird species and a rich variety of wildlife. Visitors come to Pico Bonito National Park for hiking, birdwatching, white-water rafting on the Cangrejal River, and immersive nature experiences in one of Honduras's most pristine landscapes.
