Fujairah (الفجيرة) is the only one of the seven emirates of the UAE whose coastline lies entirely along the Gulf of Oman, distinguished by a striking landscape between the Hajar Mountains and the sea. The emirate is known for historic landmarks such as the centuries-old Al Bidyah Mosque and Fujairah Fort, its beaches, and the popular snorkeling and diving sites around Snoopy Island. In Wadi Wurayah National Park, freshwater springs, natural pools, and streams create a rare contrast to the arid landscapes of the Arabian Peninsula.
