Description
Venao Beach (Playa Venao) is a horseshoe-shaped bay on the Pacific coast of the Azuero Peninsula and one of Panama’s best-known surfing destinations. The coastal village is known for its consistent year-round waves, dark sandy beach, laid-back atmosphere, and international surf and travel scene. Along the bay, framed by forested hills, surfing and beach life blend with restaurants, beach bars, accommodations, and events. Spectacular sunsets, hiking opportunities, and seasonal whale and sea turtle watching also make Playa Venao an attractive base for exploring the natural beauty of Panama’s Pacific coast.
