Saariselkä is a small holiday village in northern Finland on the edge of Urho Kekkonen National Park, one of the country's largest national parks. The village is one of Finnish Lapland's most popular destinations and is renowned for its vast fell landscapes, unspoiled wilderness, and excellent opportunities to observe the Northern Lights. In winter, visitors come for cross-country skiing, winter hiking, downhill skiing, husky and reindeer safaris, while summer brings the Midnight Sun, scenic hiking trails, and mountain biking. Saariselkä combines easy access to the Arctic wilderness with a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal base for exploring the landscapes and Sámi cultural heritage of northern Lapland.
