Description
Rum Point sits on the far side of the North Sound from the capital and is where Grand Cayman goes for a slow day, a short beach of white sand under casuarina trees with hammocks strung between them and a bar that invented the mudslide. Boats leave the jetty for Stingray City, the shallow sandbar where southern stingrays gather to be fed and which is the single most visited attraction in the Cayman Islands. Starfish Point is a walk along the shore, and the bioluminescent bay is entered from here after dark. A ferry crosses the sound from Camana Bay.
