Popeye Village is a colorful film set from the 1980s and today a family-friendly attraction on the picturesque Anchor Bay in northwestern Malta. Built as the fictional village of Sweethaven for the film “Popeye” starring Robin Williams, the wooden set was preserved after filming. Visitors can wander among the crooked, brightly painted houses, learn more about the making of the film and enjoy shows, exhibitions and family activities. The idyllic bay and dramatic coastal scenery add to its charm, making Popeye Village a unique destination that combines film history, entertainment and Mediterranean seaside atmosphere.
