Description
Pedasí is a charming, traditional town on the Pacific coast of the Azuero Peninsula, one of the driest regions of Panama. The town is known for its relaxed beaches, excellent sport fishing, and proximity to the Isla Iguana Wildlife Refuge, with its seabird colonies, coral reefs, and abundant marine life. Humpback whales can be spotted seasonally offshore, while nearby Isla Cañas is renowned for the remarkable mass nesting of sea turtles. Pedasí combines rural traditions and unspoiled nature with a laid-back coastal atmosphere and serves as a gateway to the surf beaches of Playa Venao and the diverse Pacific coastline of the southern Azuero Peninsula.
