Jarabacoa is a popular mountain and nature destination in the heart of the Dominican Republic, often referred to as the “City of Eternal Spring” for its mild climate. Located at around 530 meters in the lush Cordillera Central, the town is known for its rivers, waterfalls, pine forests, and scenic mountain landscapes. Jarabacoa is an important hub for outdoor activities such as hiking, white-water rafting, canyoning, and paragliding. Waterfalls such as Jimenoa and Baiguate, coffee plantations, and nearby Pico Duarte, the highest peak in the Caribbean, make the region one of the country’s most diverse destinations for nature and adventure.
