Description
Torres del Paine (Parque Nacional Torres del Paine) is the best-known national park in Chilean Patagonia and one of South America's most spectacular protected areas. It is renowned for the iconic granite towers of the Torres del Paine, the rugged Cuernos del Paine, turquoise glacial lakes, massive glaciers, and vast Patagonian steppe. The world-famous W Trek and the longer O Circuit traverse the park's dramatic mountain landscapes, offering some of the finest multi-day hiking routes in the world. Grey Glacier, which calves into Lago Grey, together with abundant wildlife including guanacos, pumas, Andean condors, and rheas, makes the park one of Patagonia's premier destinations for hikers and nature lovers.
