Short description of Rewa
Rewa is a village of about three hundred people at the meeting of two rivers, reached only by boat, and it has become the best place in South America to catch an arapaima and put it back. The lodge is owned by the village and staffed by men who used to hunt what they now guide people to photograph. Mornings go out on the water looking for otters and black caiman. A hill behind the village is climbed for sunrise over unbroken canopy. The season for the really big fish runs through the drier months.
