Praslin
Seychelles · 20 m
Description
Praslin is the second largest island of the Seychelles and the one most visitors move to after Mahé, a low granite ridge covered in palm forest with a road running along each coast. Anse Lazio at the northern end is regularly called one of the finest beaches in the world, a curve of white sand between rounded boulders and takamaka trees. Anse Georgette on the west needs permission to reach. The island is small enough to circle in an afternoon and is the departure point for La Digue, Curieuse and Cousin. Buses run both coast roads and are the cheapest way to move around.
