Playa Conchal is one of Costa Rica’s best-known beaches and a tropical gem in the province of Guanacaste. The crescent-shaped beach is famous for its pale shoreline made up of countless tiny shell fragments, its clear turquoise waters, and its beautiful setting on the Pacific coast. Surrounded by tropical vegetation and located near the coastal village of Brasilito, this distinctive shell beach is considered one of the most beautiful seaside destinations in northwestern Costa Rica.
