Milestii Mici
Moldova · Ialoveni · 130 m
Description
Mileștii Mici holds the largest wine collection in the world by number of bottles, a Guinness record it has kept for years, with close to two million bottles in the Golden Collection alone. The cellars occupy a limestone mine worked out in the nineteen sixties, roughly two hundred kilometres of galleries of which about fifty five are in use. Visitors drive their own car through or ride a shuttle, because the distances underground are genuinely too far to walk. Twenty kilometres south of the capital.
