Description
Klein Bonaire is the flat uninhabited islet six hundred metres off Kralendijk, six square kilometres of limestone and thorn scrub with a ring of reef around it that is the best snorkelling on Bonaire. Water taxis run across in ten minutes and leave people for the day at No Name Beach, which has shade sails and nothing else, no shop, no water and no buildings at all. Hawksbill and loggerhead turtles nest on the beaches here, and the whole islet has been government owned and protected since 1999.
