Short description of John Obey Beach

John Obey is quieter again than Tokeh, a long empty curve of sand where a handful of eco camps have put up simple huts among the palms and left the rest alone. There is little to do here beyond swim, walk the long beach and eat what the kitchen has that day, and that is exactly the point of coming. Fishing boats work the very same water every morning. It sits close enough to Bureh that surfers will sometimes base themselves here instead. The road in here is rough enough by itself to keep the numbers down.
