Description
Diani Beach is one of Kenya’s best-known beach destinations, stretching south of Mombasa along a long, fine-sand shoreline on the Indian Ocean. Protected by offshore coral reefs, the coast offers excellent opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, diving, and kitesurfing. Behind the beach, the Colobus Conservation Centre introduces visitors to the endangered Angolan colobus monkey and the surrounding coastal forest. Nearby, Shimba Hills National Reserve is home to elephants, sable antelopes, and diverse wildlife. Excursions to Wasini Island and Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park combine dolphin watching, coral reefs, and Swahili culture. Diani blends tropical beach life with wildlife, nature, and marine experiences.
