Description
Dahab (دهب) is a laid-back coastal town in southeastern Egypt, set on the Sinai Peninsula along the Gulf of Aqaba, where Bedouin traditions meet a relaxed international travel culture. Once a small Bedouin settlement, Dahab is now known for its colorful coral reefs, spectacular dive sites, and easygoing atmosphere between the sea and the desert mountains. Among its most famous underwater attractions are the Blue Hole and the Canyon, drawing divers and snorkelers from around the world. Dahab is also a popular destination for freedivers, windsurfers, and independent travelers. Small waterfront restaurants and cafés add to the town’s relaxed, unpretentious character.
