Description
Cobh is a picturesque harbour town on Cork Harbour and an important part of Ireland’s maritime and emigration history. Its colourful houses climb the hillside beneath the distinctive spire of St. Colman’s Cathedral, creating one of Ireland’s most recognisable townscapes. Known as Queenstown until 1920, Cobh was the Titanic’s final port of call in 1912 and one of Ireland’s most important emigration ports for generations.
