Bahariya (البحرية) is a vast oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert, around 370 kilometers southwest of Cairo. The oasis is known for its lush palm groves, olive and fruit orchards, warm springs, and striking desert landscapes. Particularly distinctive is the nearby Black Desert, where dark volcanic rock formations create a dramatic contrast with the surrounding golden sands.
