Taghazout (تاغازوت) is a small coastal village in southwestern Morocco and one of the country’s best-known surfing destinations. The former fishing village north of Agadir is famous for its Atlantic waves and legendary surf spots such as Anchor Point and Killer Point, as well as its laid-back atmosphere between sandy beaches and rocky coastline. Taghazout blends traditional fishing-village culture with surf camps, cafés, yoga, and an international flair. As a hub of Morocco’s surf scene, the village attracts surfers, independent travelers, and those seeking a relaxed coastal escape from around the world.
