The Stubai Valley (Stubaital) is a picturesque alpine valley south of Innsbruck in Tyrol and ranks among the best-known holiday destinations in the Austrian Alps. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Stubai Alps, including numerous mountains exceeding 3,000 metres, the valley combines spectacular scenery, traditional Tyrolean culture, and year-round outdoor activities. It is best known for the Stubai Glacier, one of Austria's largest glacier ski areas, offering an exceptionally long winter season.
