Description
Odda is a small town at the head of the Sørfjord and one of the gateways to the spectacular landscapes of Western Norway. The region is best known for Trolltunga, the dramatic rock formation that juts out about 700 metres above Lake Ringedalsvatnet and ranks among Norway’s most famous hiking destinations. Odda lies in the heart of the Hardanger region, renowned for its orchards and spectacular spring blossom. Nearby attractions include the impressive Låtefossen waterfall and Folgefonna National Park, with its vast glacier landscapes. Together, fjords, waterfalls, orchards and high mountains make Odda a popular base for exploring the natural and adventurous side of Western Norway.
