Description
Krka National Park is a spectacular river landscape in northern Dalmatia, known for its dramatic travertine waterfalls, green gorges, and clear waterways. The centerpiece is Skradinski Buk, one of Croatia’s most famous waterfall cascades, where the river tumbles over a series of travertine terraces and steps into turquoise pools. Wooden walkways wind through the waterfall landscape, offering ever-changing views of the water and lush vegetation. Other highlights include Roški Slap and the small island of Visovac, home to a historic Franciscan monastery. Close to Šibenik and Split, the park is an ideal addition to a journey along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.
