Description
Brač is one of Dalmatia’s best-known islands, combining diverse landscapes, Mediterranean character and a centuries-old stone-cutting tradition. The island is famous for Zlatni Rat near Bol, a distinctive pebble spit whose shape changes subtly with the wind, waves and sea currents. Towns such as Bol and Pučišća add white-stone houses, small harbors and traditional Dalmatian charm, while vineyards, olive groves and the deep blue Adriatic shape the island’s landscape. Vidova Gora, at 778 meters the highest peak of the Adriatic islands, offers sweeping views across the coast and surrounding islands. Brač brings together nature, culture and cuisine while retaining the authentic character of the Dalmatian coast.
