Krabi Town (กระบี่) is the laid-back provincial capital of the region of the same name in southern Thailand and the main gateway to the spectacular islands and coastal landscapes of the Andaman Sea. The city is picturesquely situated on the Krabi River, surrounded by striking limestone cliffs and mangrove forests, and captivates visitors with its authentic daily life, lively night markets, excellent street food, and a relaxed riverside promenade. Among the most famous attractions are the striking Khao Khanab Nam, the famous Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), and the convenient boat connections to Railay, Ao Nang, Koh Phi Phi, and the region’s numerous islands.
