Dickenson Bay
Antigua and Barbuda Β· Antigua Β· 5 m
Description
Dickenson Bay is the main resort beach of Antigua, a long curve of white sand on the sheltered northwest coast fifteen minutes from the capital. The water is calm and shallow well out from shore, which is why the largest hotels stand here and why the bay is lined with jet ski operators, sailing schools and beach bars. Boats leave from this coast for the offshore cays and for the stingray sandbank in the north east. Sunsets face straight out over open water, and the bars along the sand fill for them.
