Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros) in the Brazilian state of Goiás is one of the country’s most spectacular natural areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of the Cerrado. The region is characterized by ancient quartzite plateaus, deep canyons, crystal-clear rivers, and breathtaking waterfalls such as Cachoeira Santa Bárbara and Catarata dos Couros.
