Description
The Pantanal (Parque Nacional do Pantanal Mato-Grossense) is the world's largest tropical wetland and one of South America's most biodiverse ecosystems. Its unique landscape of seasonally flooded grasslands, rivers, and gallery forests stretches across Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Renowned as one of the best places in the world to observe wild jaguars, the Pantanal is also home to caimans, capybaras, giant otters, tapirs, hyacinth macaws, and hundreds of bird species.
