Description
Al Hoceima (الحسيمة) is a picturesque coastal city in northern Morocco and one of the country’s most appealing Mediterranean destinations. The city is known for its turquoise coves, sandy beaches, and the dramatic mountain scenery of the Rif. Just beyond the city lies Al Hoceima National Park, with its rugged cliffs, secluded bays, and largely unspoiled coastal landscapes. Offshore, the small Spanish-administered Islas Alhucemas, including the distinctive Peñón de Alhucemas, rise from the Mediterranean. Al Hoceima combines a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with the culture of the Rif, offering a quieter alternative to Morocco’s more heavily visited coastal regions.
