Description
Sopot is a historic seaside resort on Poland’s Baltic coast, situated between Gdańsk and Gdynia and part of the Tricity (Trójmiasto). The city is known for its long spa tradition, sandy beach, historic resort architecture, and its more than 500-meter-long wooden pier, one of its most recognizable landmarks. Bohaterów-Monte-Cassino Street, known as the “Monciak”, is lined with cafés, restaurants, shops, and bars. Among its most distinctive buildings is the Crooked House, famous for its unusual curved façade. Sopot combines the atmosphere of a classic Baltic resort with lively dining, culture, and nightlife, complementing Gdańsk and Gdynia as part of the Tricity.
