Surrounded by tobacco fields, pine forests, and cloud forest reserves, Estelí is an ideal base for visiting cigar factories, hiking in the Tisey–La Estanzuela Nature Reserve, exploring the orchid-rich Miraflor Nature Reserve, and discovering the spectacular Somoto Canyon nearby.
