Bruges

Bruges preserves an exceptionally coherent medieval city centre of canals, brick gables and cobbled squares. The UNESCO-listed historic core unfolds around the Markt and Burg, where the belfry, civic buildings and former merchant houses recall the city's wealth as a European trading centre.
