Villa La Angostura is an idyllic resort town in Argentina’s Andean Patagonia, surrounded by Lake Nahuel Huapi, forested mountains, and vast native woodlands. The town is known for its distinctive wood-and-stone architecture, tranquil atmosphere, and spectacular lake and mountain scenery. One of its most remarkable natural attractions is Los Arrayanes National Park on the Quetrihué Peninsula, home to an extraordinary forest of centuries-old arrayán trees with their characteristic cinnamon-colored bark.
