Description

Tomohon is a picturesque highland town above Manado and the cultural heart of the Minahasa people in North Sulawesi. Known as the “City of Flowers”, it is renowned for its volcanic scenery, the volcanoes Lokon and Mahawu, the colour-changing Lake Linow, and its natural hot springs. Traditional Minahasa wooden houses, fertile gardens, and a pleasantly cool mountain climate add to the town's distinctive charm. Tomohon is considered one of North Sulawesi's best destinations for hiking and nature lovers, as well as an ideal gateway to the region's spectacular volcanic landscapes.
