Description
Sepilok, about 25 kilometres west of Sandakan, is one of Borneo's leading wildlife conservation centres and one of Sabah's premier destinations for nature and wildlife experiences. It is home to the renowned Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, the neighbouring Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and the Rainforest Discovery Centre, featuring an impressive canopy walkway through the tropical rainforest. Visitors have the rare opportunity to observe rehabilitated orangutans and sun bears while discovering the remarkable biodiversity of Borneo's lowland rainforest.
