Indonesia · South Bali · 5 m
Description
Sanur is a historic coastal town on Bali's southeastern coast in Indonesia, renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and long, gently sloping sandy beach. The town is known for its calm, reef-protected lagoon, scenic beachfront promenade, and spectacular sunrises over the sea. Compared to the lively resorts on Bali's west coast, Sanur has retained a more traditional and laid-back character, with temples, colorful fishing boats, local markets, and a wide selection of cafés and restaurants. Thanks to its calm waters, Sanur is especially popular with families and is also the island's main departure point for boats to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.
