Redang Island, Malaysia

Redang Island

Malaysia · Terengganu · 5 m

Description

Redang (Pulau Redang) is one of the most beautiful islands on Malaysia's east coast and part of a protected marine park in the South China Sea. The island is renowned for its white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life, including sea turtles and colorful reef fish. Excellent snorkeling and diving sites, lush tropical scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere make Redang one of Malaysia's most popular island destinations. During the Northeast Monsoon season, however, many resorts and ferry services operate only on a limited basis or close temporarily.
